Perseverance

Perseverance is the believer's continuing in faith, endurance, and obedience in Christ. In Calvinism, the "perseverance of the saints" is the claim that every elect person will certainly persevere to the end. Decalvinised distinguishes that claim from eternal security, which rests on God's promise to keep those who are in Christ.

Predestination

Predestination is God's predetermined redemptive plan to justify, sanctify, adopt, and glorify those who are in Christ through faith.

Prevenient Grace

Prevenient grace is God's gracious initiative before conversion. God does the initial work by revealing himself, providing the gospel, sending Christ, and calling people to respond. Decalvinised uses the term in this general sense rather than as a technical explanation that fallen humanity must first receive an additional grace before the gospel can be believed.
